SoundsTruck NW® is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization based in Portland, Oregon, bringing live music and creative experiences directly to communities and neighbors through pop-up performances.
Founded by professional classical musicians Jon and Yoko Greeney during the COVID-19 pandemic, SoundsTruck NW emerged from a reimagining of the concert experience for greater flexibility, resilience, and access. The result is an award-winning, solar-powered, all-in-one mobile stage designed for outdoor and everyday settings.
Today, we present community programs and collaborate with partners across the region, creating welcoming spaces for connection through family-friendly events.
Our story
Our Journey
Building Collective Impact (2023–2025)
Our stage,
Shared in 4 ways
SoundsTruck NW presents its own community programs and also shares its mobile stage in four distinct ways
For nonprofits and community organizations
We offer reduced-rate stage rentals for organizations whose missions align with ours, helping make outdoor events accessible and impactful.
We co-create programs together
We partner with nonprofits, schools, and community groups to design and present events together—sharing resources, ideas, and audiences for greater impact.
Stage support in exchange for visibility
For large-scale public events, we provide the stage as an in-kind sponsorship in exchange for visibility and shared storytelling about our mission.
For weddings, celebrations, and corporate events
Our stage is also available at full rate for private events, helping support our nonprofit work.
Our Community’s Voice

“Our partnership with SoundsTruck NW is such a gift. Their team is professional, kind, innovative, and helpful. They go above and beyond to make sure that our attendees have a positive experience. We are so grateful for their partnership and look forward to working with them for years to come!”
“The SoundsTruck elevated our whole event to another level! Its presence transformed the parking lot space into a music venue that was as exciting for the performers as it was for the audience.”
